2026 Review
The 2026 Aramco Korea Championship delivered a spectacular finale at New Korea Country Club, with Japanese star Miyu Yamashita claiming the title at 22-under-par.
Yamashita fired a course-record 63 (-9) in the final round to secure a three-shot victory over Czechia’s Sara Kouskova, who also matched the course record with a 63. The win marked Yamashita’s second Ladies European Tour title and fourth victory of 2026, capping a memorable week of world-class women’s golf in Korea.
The Format
For the 2026 season, the PIF Global Series has evolved to place the spotlight primarily on individual excellence. Building on its rapid growth as some of the most compelling events in women’s golf, the Series has transitioned away from the previous team-plus-individual model to a pure strokeplay competition played over four days.
Coming to a conclusion on the final day after the field is cut to 60 and ties, the Aramco Korea Championship offers a huge $2m prize fund as well as points for the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and the Rolex World Rankings.
