Texas is set for a landmark sporting moment as the Aramco Houston Championship takes place at Golfcrest Country Club, part of the PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour (LET). With a prize purse of $2 million, the penultimate stop of the series will bring together a world-class field of champions and new talents — and underline the Series’ mission to empower women, spark investment, and leave a lasting community legacy.

Empowering women through sport

More than a competition, the Aramco Houston Championship shines a light on women’s golf as a platform for change. By putting female athletes at the centre of the stage, the Series inspires girls across Houston and beyond to see themselves as the future of the game.

Investment and global dialogue

In collaboration with the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute, the tournament also highlights the role of sport as an engine for economic growth and cross-border dialogue. The course becomes not only a venue for competition, but also a meeting point for business leaders, partners, and decision-makers.

Social responsibility: A legacy beyond the fairways

Alongside elite competition, a range of community initiatives will inspire and educate youth across Houston:

  • Roger Clemens Foundation – Golf and sustainability clinics with a special appearance from baseball Hall of Famer Roger Clemens.
  • Sports Authority Foundation – Opening golf to children from diverse backgrounds, offering them a chance to experience the championship firsthand.
  • First Tee Houston – Behind-the-scenes tours and Careers in Golf workshops.
  • Girls Inc. of Greater Houston – Inspiring girls aged 6–18 through STEM, golf clinics, and career programs.
  • Sustained Futures – Sustainability and sport workshops with the potential launch of a Climate Academy.
  • GoGolf Clinics – Free youth sessions that introduce golf to the community, ensuring the championship’s impact lasts long after the final putt.

A star-studded field

This year’s field features some of the most exciting names in women’s golf:

  • Danielle Kang – Major champion and multiple LPGA Tour winner.
  • Alison Lee – Returning to competition in her first championship since becoming a mother, a powerful symbol of resilience and inspiration.
  • Charley Hull – In excellent form and one of the stars of the LET.
  • Carlota Ciganda and Celine Boutier – Among Europe’s most accomplished and consistent players.
  • Laura Fuenfstueck and Mimi Rhodes – Rising talents who represent the next generation.

Golf Saudi ambassadors in action

Golf Saudi ambassadors will play a central role, including Charley Hull, Carlota Ciganda, Celine Boutier, Bronte Law, Anne Van Dam, Alison Lee, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Muni He, and Marianne Skarpnord. Together, they reflect Golf Saudi’s commitment to women’s empowerment and showcasing talent on a global stage.
